The Art of Sustainability (AoS) belongs to a holistic story stretching back to the 1950’s and currently as an Award winning Sustainable venue of which AoS is an educational outreach.
The Welsh government is the world’s first to pass legislation, the Well-Being of Future Generations (Wales) Act 2015, enshrining Sustainability as its central organising principle.
Based in South East Wales near the border with South West England, AoS is collaboratively bringing together expertise into a Forum, a meeting place, covering systems and behavioural change towards Well Being for all life on Earth.
We all share in a common Outcome that a different practical approach is needed if we are to negotiate away from polycrisis such as the climate emergency, biodiversity loss, species mass extinction, ocean plastics, zoonotic spillover (e.g. covid19) etc.
This will require thinking creatively and taking brave steps both personally and professionally.
We will need a “language” of Sustainability therefore the Forum has three: Self (Sustainability begins with your Self), Academic (Education for Sustainable Development & Global Citizenship – ESDGC) and Corporate.
